I actually got out yesterday for the first time in a month. What with hospital procedures and constant rain at the weekends going out into the Forest has been put on hold. It was very soggy out there and we have missed the autumn colours as the leaves were off the trees. This is all I could manage in the grey light. The mare was nibbling on a fallen tree.

I had a call from the hospital on Friday morning and have been given the all clear on anything nasty. I do have to go back to see the consultant but it is for something minor they found. To say I am relieved is an understatment
