Coal Harbour presents as if painted by water colours.
The reflections of the CIty of Vancouver is mirrored against the calm ocean surface.

Coal Harbour is a section of Burrard Inlet lying between Vancouver's Downtown Peninsula and the Brockton Point of Stanley Park.
A small portion of the Stanley Park Seawall as observed to the left of this image.

A special thanks to all my Flickr friends and visitors, for taking the time to view and acknowledge my photography.

The ruins of the Wonderland Ranch, also known as The Pink House are found in Joshua Tree National Park. The house originally belonged to Worth Bagley, a Los Angeles sheriff deputy. Bagley did not get along with Bill Keys, who operated a nearby mill. In 1943, Keys shot and killed Bagley, the deputy. Keys served 12 years in prison but was pardoned when evidence came to light that he was acting in self-defense as Bagley had a long-standing plan to murder Keys. Meanwhile Bagleys house was purchased by the Ohlsons. The Ohlsons expanded the house to 2,400 square feet, painted it pink and named it Wonderland Ranch. The Ohlsons divorced and the wife, Signe, continued to live in the house. Signe eventually sold the property to Joshua Tree National Park and died in 1986. Careless caretakers accidently burned the house down. It is unknown what the park plans to do with the ruin. It is an interesting place to visit and ponder the difficult lives people lived in this desert area.
