I almost cropped in closer on this one so you could more clearly see how one of the Littles is leaning in towards Mama and Mama's nose is touching her Little's shoulder.

But then I decided not to because I kind of like showing the whole picture here, how everyone, including the gulls, were just in a bit of relaxation mode, taking a breather before the next big fishing splashes would begin again.

This is an uncropped photo and I was in front of the camp area and the bears and gulls were downriver just past one of their favorite fishing spots.

It's a shallow area where the salmon seem to rest and they are then very easy targets for the bears and it's a great place for Mama to school her 3 Littles at learning to catch salmon for themselves. Of course, as little as they are right now, they won't catch their own fish but they sure do watch Mama. Their little brains are recording and intently observing everything. Learning what they need to know.
