following mom, eagerly anticipating the next salmon they will steal from her after she catches one.

The cub in front can already taste that nice big fat and fresh salmon as he licks his little chops. The little one who's following is more interested in Goldilocks at the moment.

is one of the ways the bears will get their salmon.

This was actually taken in 2016 (Yes, still archive diving) and a version of this photo was posted back then.

I decided to repost it with a bit different crop and less post processing. In the previous one I posted, I brought out more detail on the shadow side of the bear. And the dark background is how it came out of the camera. I did not create that in post processing.

I decided to leave it original this time. I think I like it better

I know I did. Talk about a direct stare with intensity at the maximum. This was taken on one of those days I stayed pretty late into the evening to photograph these guys. This is one of the parents, I think the mom due to the pronounced necklace of brown feathers. I sure hope I get to experience their nesting and raising chicks again next year. One of my highlights this last year.

Archive diving again. I really need to get out with my camera.

Taking my little black and tan doxie, Sugar, in to get her teeth cleaned this morning. Her breath right now could take down a Cape buffalo.

Will catch up later.

(Archive diving here)

I know I'm boring the hell out of you (my contacts) but I haven't gotten out to take photos, haven't even so much as picked up my camera in ages, so this is all I'm doing.

Riding.

And this, the gator, the dogs, Monica driving and me riding is what Phil and I used to do all the time. It was so much fun. Phil had stopped riding, he just had too many health issues but this way he could come along and have fun too and he loved it.

I didn't know Monica was recording this but I was happy when she showed it to me. You can see how the dogs love going for gator rides and I have dirt roads all over my property. We can go for as long as we want, yet still be close to home. It's pretty awesome.

The dogs are on squirrel patrol.
