Dry conditions and strong winds help fuel a rapidly moving bushfire across the Narrowneck plateau in Katoomba. I watched this fire as it raged across the plateau against a very strong wind that blew directly against it. We watched as this fire descended hundreds over metres into the valley floor in a very short period of time. Great effort by the RFS and all the emergency workers who help keep us safe during bushfire season...
