Stephanie Bendixsen is an Australian presenter, gamer & author. Prior to the current Covid-19 lockdowns, we did an enjoyable two location portrait session incorporating a variety of commercial looks...Some of you might know her via her gamer tag "Hex". You would be mistaken in thinking that I'm a landscape photographer based on my uploads, however most of my professional photographic work is studio and location portraiture.

This was a test image from my recent Pop up portrait sessions in conjunction with the touring Archibald exhibit at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre. Here I created some artificial late sunset light using strobes and gobos. This was before any clients arrived on set (10.30am) and I continued to use some of this creative light in some of the portraits throughout the day...All images were shot tethered to a monitor over the course of the sessions so that clients could see the images live as we captured them. You learn allot as a photographer doing these types of live sessions in the public arena and I love the challenges they bring....
