Went back to Bridal Falls today and took some more shots. Totally struggled to get a decent shot of the main falls. The comp is very tricky as you are so close to the main falls and you can't stand backI I also need to get a better landscape lens as i mainly use a nikon 18-200 vr lens, okay but not wide enough............more for the never ending wish list!
I just managed to get this shot as the crap tripod i'm using won't hold for long in the portrait orientation as.........well it's crap. Getting a new tripod soon, can't wait!
I did meet a nice pro photographer from Canada doing his thing, cool guy. Bit of pro gear envy from me....
Oh and the best bit....as i was nearing the track to come down a guy came walking towards me completely naked on the road. He saw me and started heading back to Leura Cascades. I got on the phone to the police as I thought he might be unwell or in strife. He then came bounding down the track where i was and saw me again and ducked behind a tree and pulled out some clothes in a plastic bag he had. For the those who know the Blue mountains, know it's exactly not warm this time of year.
Anyway he took off as i was explaining to the officer that i just saw him get dressed. They were going to send out a car to take a look and check him out. I snapped back to reality and remembered...........oh yeah i need to get waterfalls shots!
