The extensive sands at Perranporth in north Cornwall, with dunes behind them, are said to hide an early English chapel. The bay is a popular spot for surfers. It is featured on the TV programme "Seaside Rescue".

An older photo, taken in Padstow's quieter days, A still delightful town in north Cornwall, its inner harbour provides shelter for fishing boats and other vessels. The TV chef Rick Stein now seems to own about half the town, and the TV coverage has attracted many thousands of tourists.
