Horse-riding is a very popular activity where we live in Northamptonshire, and there are numerous stables where people can either keep or rent horses. Our little Yorkie seems to take exception to anything not on two legs or four wheels, so the moment we saw the horses heading our way we shortened her lead and kept her well out of the way until they had walked past. This was taken on the Cottesebrooke Estate, a few miles north of Northampton, where the country roads are gated so sheep and cattle can graze in complete safety.
