Whitsand Bay is on the south-east coast of Cornwall between Portwrinkle in the west and Rame Head, which can be seen in the far distance. Beyond that is Plymouth Sound. At low tide a wonderful sandy beach is revealed, with the rocks providing lots of little secluded areas. The road along the top of the cliffs has one of the finest coastal views in Cornwall. However, parking is limited, as is access to the beach, or this would probably be one of the most popular places in Cornwall.
