The seafront at Cromer in north Norfolk has a lengthy promenade, a very fine pier and sandy beaches. But it can be very bracing with the wind blowing off the North Sea. As well as being a delightful seaside resort, the town is famous for its crabs. Its most famous resident was the much-decorated lifeboat coxwain, Henry Blogg. The Lifeboat Museum is worth a visit.
