User / Baz Richardson - often away / Brunel's bridge across the Tamar
Baz Richardson / 12,079 items
Brunel's famous railway bridge across the River Tamar, which links Devon with Cornwall, dates from 1859, and was part of his Great Western Railway. It carries a single track, and trains cross very slowly as there is a sharp bend into the tiny station at Saltash. The bridge is apparently due a fresh coat of paint.
