The very large 18th century watermill at Houghton sits astride the River Great Ouse, and lies between Huntingdon and St Ives. The mill is open to visitors, who can buy flour that has been milled there. It also houses an art gallery on the ground floor. At one point in the mid-19th century there were ten pairs of stones powered by the mill's three waterwheels. It belongs to the National Trust.
