Artist: Tom Wood
Materials: Steel, bar and wire.
Description: "Emu in the Sky" - Bidyadanga is an Aboriginal Community 180km south of Broome on the Kimberley Coast, home to the Karajarri People, local, dreamtime story of the Bidyadanga Emu in the Sky on a clear moonless night can be seen among the stars. This was my inspiration for the Emu and the Emu Eggs. The Pindan soil base was a must for me to bring a natural element into the work.
