This New Year has me motivated about all sorts of things. So, I've decided to tackle a 52 Week Project. I'm not up for a 2nd 365 just quite yet. :)
Today, my husband took us all out hiking, in spite of the temperature being 22 degrees. Brrrr! I do love that he encourages and gets me to do things I wouldn't otherwise ever consider. It was some great family time - fresh air and exercise! Loved this shot of my boys with their hiking sticks! Bring it on, January!

This beautiful girl is one of the great loves of my life. What an incredible kitty she is, named Indy since we found her on the 4th of July. (it's short for Independence). She's a female orange tabby, which is extremely rare. My vet has only seen one other in his 20 years of practice.
We've had some issues with her kidneys lately. Today we went into the vet for a check up and it turns out the new diet she is on is doing the trick!!! Her numbers looked much better! HUGE sigh of relief. She is one special cat. I highly doubt I'll ever have another one like her. Oh how I love her!

Jenni and I have been friends since we were 13. After not seeing each other for a month and a half (where did the time go) we met for lunch and a yummy dessert. I'm only lucky girl to have a friend like her...you can't put a price on this kind of friendship.
