So, with some trepidation, I've decided to embark upon my first 365 project. If nothing else, I know it will challenge and push me and help me grow, even if I don't make it every single day.
This was my special Christmas gift to my daughter. Her very first "real" necklace. Kind of a big mommy/daughter moment, for me at least. Happy New Year!

I feel so lucky to live so close to the Morton Arboretum. It's a beautiful place with endless photographic opportunities. We took the kids on a bit a scenic drive today, though they were more fascinated by the lacing cards they had in hand than the beauty surrounding them. Oh well. My hubby and I enjoyed the sites.
Two days down, 363 to go! :)

A little bit of paint in the tub and the 5 year olds are happy as can be! I know I'll miss these little things as they get older.

Disappearing Santas....time to put the decorations away. (though realistically, it will most likely be this weekend.) I bought these from a street vendor in what used to be East Berlin in 1995. So happy I did.
Day 4 - back to my job and its 10pm before i've taken a shot. This is going to be challenging...

One of the perks of my job is getting to go to sporting events, not pay for the tickts and be in an executive suite. Sadly,it's made me quite spoiled. But, I never take it for granted. I feel very lucky. At that level, this amazing thing called the dessert cart comes around. Lots of yummy stuff on it including this chocolate hockey puck.
