I am thankful for my beautiful daughter, her sweet smile, gentle ways and huge heart. Not sure how I got so lucky.

Catching up since we are already on day 3 in November. (this is post 2 for today). I'm grateful for my sweet little guy - twin sister to Maggie. He's funny, creative, kind, happy and overall just a sweet little boy. Again, not sure how I lucked out with 2 amazing munchkins.

Daily Gratitude Day 3. I love fall. I love everything about it. I'm grateful to live in a part of the country where i get to experience the changing the seasons and watch all the amazing colors as they appear. I'm grateful for the 2 hours I got to spend on "me time" taking these photos. I see the colors and I feel peace.

I knew I wouldn't be the only one posting gratitude for this particular subject. I was so proud to vote this morning. So proud to wear my sticker all day today. Two stickers in fact. I knew I might get cold during the day today and would have to put on a jacket. So, I asked for two. No matter what i had on, I could proudly display that I VOTED!
My husband, Kevin, and I are glued to the television tonight. Our 4 year old twins are trying to grasp the concept of voting (it's a stretch.) I told my daughter I voted and she enthusiastically asked if I won. Ahhh, the innocence!
I had a flash of maybe 32 years in the future. Kevin and I will be grandparents perhaps by that point. We'll be telling our grandkids about this historic election. I know I'll be thinking how young we were at this point and how much change (hopefully) was just around the bend. We'll look back and think "thank goodness!"
God Bless our Freedom and our Right to Vote!

For some reason, I love this photo. This wall is just inside Epcot. Maggie decided to wander off on her own and I glanced up just as she took a step up. I had to snap this picture. I love her curiosity and it struck me in this moment how fleeting this sweet age is.
Daily Gratitude-I'm so thankful for the moments that make me stop and appreciate the moment.
