Here is an image of a male stonechat perched on bilberry on a very windy day on Holcombe Hill. The bird is going through moult so does not look its best whilst the heather in the background is in full bloom.

Sat down for a cuppa and surprise! A female Blue-banded Bee digging out her nesting burrow in the raised garden bed right next to me. Sometimes you just get lucky!! Back yard at home.
