HAPPY NEW YEAR!


first slide of 2016 is a favorite from the files-

while cavorting in the Haleakalā Caldera in Maui
i saw a red dot far far away down the Sliding Sands Trail,
a woman with flaming red hair was hiking towards us,
easy to keep track of her for over the 1 1/2 miles
until there she was in front of us ,
i asked if i could take her picture,
she said sure, this is the one i snapped,
we said thanks , smiles all around
and went on with our hike...
