Blue skies and puffy clouds form a dramatic backdrop to the belvedere, or elevated viewing terrace, from which the visitor can drink in breathtaking views of Tanguá Park, Curitiba, PR, Brazil.
This park was inaugurated in 1996, the Tanguá Park surprises with its beauty as an example of urban space being re-utilized - on one old complex of disactivated quarries -, and it is part of the Barigüi river preservation project joining Tingüi and Barigüi parks. This park with an area of 450 thousand square meters has two quarries connected by a 45 meter tunnel that may be crossed on foot by a path over the water. It can be visited on boat or on foot (hiking). The park has a cooper and bicycle track, snack bar, belvedere and Poty Lazzarotto garden.

Another look at "my special lake" on Otter Lake Road, one hour south of Tulameen, BC, Canada. I just love stopping here to drink in the pure beauty of this scene. I never tire of it!
On a sad note, the pine trees in this area, like those in the right background of this image, are all being devastated by the Mountain Pine Beetle. The needles turn a deep rust colour and eventually fall off.
