The name of this tulip says it all! Bombastic Red is a flamboyant double with enormous 8" blooms in a rich scarlet-red hue. Layer upon velvety layer of petals open wide to add a luxuriant look and feel to any area of the landscape. Quite peony-like in appearance, the late-spring tulips certainly make themselves known in seasonal displays, border plantings and freshly cut arrangements.
