This Cat 793 Haul truck chassis was heading to a mine in northern Alberta. Due to the size and weight of this truck, it had to be transported without its wheels and dump box. Once delivered to the mine, the wheels and box will be installed.
This truck assembled is 21' tall, 42' long, is 24' wide and weighs 250,000 lbs empty. Loaded it can carry 169 cubic yards of material weighing in at 830,000 lbs. The truck is powered by a V-16 engine rated at 2,300 hp. It holds 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel and can travel up to 33 mph. This is a serious heavy haul truck.
I didn't count all the trailer wheels and axles, but two highway tractors are required to pull and stop all this mass. One at the front and a pusher truck to help.
