The Soviets planned it as a university, but the Polish side insisted on its administrative function. A workforce of around 7000 was nearly evenly split between Poles and exported Soviet laborers; 16 were presumed killed during the work. The building remains the highest in Warsaw, but looks dwarfed by the height of modern glass skyscrapers.
This is like one of "Seven Sisters", a English name given to a group of Moscow skyscrapers designed in the Stalinist style.

People working on a item in a workshop, when walking around the site the re-enactors seem to just be living here and going about their business as if there was not a tourist in site. They do and will answer any questions that you might have.

Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis.
Isis - She was the sister-wife to Osiris and the mother of Horus. She is said to have made the first mummy from the dismembered body of Osiris, using her wings to breathe life into him and magically conceiving her son, Horus in the process.
