Above the entrance door (left side) the king worships the figure of the falcon headed god Re-Horakhty.
The cartouche of Ramses II (1290-1224 B.C.) (left one) - throne name - Usermaatre Setepenre ("The Justice of Re is Powerful, Chosen of Re"). The cartouche has noteworthy celestial overtones - it symbolized that the king was the 'Ruler of Everything Encircled by the Sun.'
The cartouche of Ramses II (right one) - birth name - Ramses Meryamun ("Re Has Fashioned Him, Beloved of Amun")
