a wonderful evening shoot till ten or so as the sun continued to shine through intermittent clouds here in Iceland. This is a life bird for me and what a wonderful experience to sit and observe their behaviors; at one time there were seventeen divers, courtship rituals, mournful callings, and many arrivals and departures. Forecast is drizzle tomorrow but I'lll be out shooting these magnificent creatures from my blind, got to seize the opportunity, hope you like this too!

Alas, I came across this couple on the very top of the cliff and was able to lie in the grass and photograph them. Some two hundred feet below was a raucous colony of razorbills, with constant arrivals and departures. I was surprised to catch the "school bus yellow" inside their mouths.
