Bluebirds are heavenly! I have been a busy beaver setting the table for the flock of about thirty bluebirds who have been regulars throughout this last week. I sit by my kitchen window and shoot away! Life is very good! Tomorrow the bluebird houses get mounted in hopes that there will be a desire to stay put... mi casa es su casa.

this fellow was hanging around a wetland area along with RWB's, yellow warblers, and a feisty brown thrasher. what a memorial day!

There seems to be some territorial behaviors around certain perches. This lovely perch is a favorite and I think they are "king of the hill" as long as they don't move their foot.
