Wednesday, 6 April 2022: our temperature is 8°C (windchill 5°C) at 5:30 pm. Sunrise was at 7:01 am, and sunset is at 8:17 pm. Sunny.

Around 1:00 am this morning, I posted these five photos taken yesterday, 5 April 2022. A walk with a few birding friends was at Carburn Park. I hadn't been on any walk since 15 February 2022, when I went with birding friends to Shannon Terrace in Fish Creek Park. My knees have been more painful since the car I was driving was T-boned on 20 December 2021, so I have been avoiding walking, which is not good.

The weather yesterday was pleasant except for the very strong wind, which made it very difficult to stand still and hold a camera. I think the temperature was around 9C. It felt so good to see a reasonable number of bird species, and a few of them were close enough to photograph. No snow or ice on the paths, which makes so much difference.

Still trying to get a few things to work on the iphone (my very first one) that I bought very recently. Note to self: try not to start doing anything connected with this in the evening, as I have been up for hours the last few nights, trying to work out (unsuccessfully!) how to do important things, like paying the first bill. Why did I decide to buy this very first iphone right now?! Didn't need the extra stress.
