Wednesday, 2 March 2022: our temperature is -7°C (windchill -10°C) at 6:30 pm. Sunrise was at 7:16 am, and sunset was at 6:20 pm. Though the forecast snow has not arrived (yet?), today has been very overcast, rather foggy and the trees looked beautiful covered in frost all day. Glad to stay home and thankful that I went out for a quick drive yesterday.

After sleeping in late yesterday morning - stayed up too late watching the latest News - I decided to go for just a quick drive SE of the city. The forecast for the next three days was for snow, and I knew I would not want to drive any backroads if there was a fresh covering of snow. Yesterday was beautiful, including a build-up of storm clouds in the distance. No owls this time, but I was so lucky last time.
