Friday, 27 November 2020: our temperature at 2:00 pm is PLUS 10C (windchill PLUS 8C). Sunrise is at 8:13 am and sunset is at 4:34 pm. A mix of sun and cloud.

An unplanned shot, as this little cutie suddenly moved closer than I was expecting. Hard to see through the thin layer of ice that was beginning to appear on my camera lens!

Three days ago, on 24 November 2020, I joined a handful of friends (all wearing masks) for a birding walk through the woods at South Glenmore Park. I tend to miss this walk as I don't usually find it too rewarding as far as birds go. On this day, it was very quiet bird-wise. It did remind me how far the walk was (especially for someone with two painful knees and who gets out for very few walks, ha). Apparently, it was 4.74 km, a lot of it going up and down hill much of the time. We did eventually reach a spot where there were a few birds and a little Red Squirrel. Unfortunately, my camera lens kept icing over (because of wearing a mask?), so I only came home with maybe half a dozen photos. The three photos that I have posted today from this walk were posted mainly so that I could make an album as a record of actually getting out on another walk.

A photo rescue of a shot that was taken through a slightly iced-over lens!
