Monday, 26 October 2020: our temperature at 12:30 am is PLUS 1C, (windchill -1C)! Supposed to get up to PLUS 3C this afternoon. Sunrise is at 8:19 am and sunset is at 6:19 pm.
The temperature today sure beats that of yesterday! In the morning yesterday, it was a windchill of -29C just south of Calgary, where I had planned to go. Plan changed - stay home instead. However, by early afternoon, it had warmed up quite a bit, so I just had time to dash southwards to visit the Saskatoon Farm before they closed the restaurant for the day. Once fed, I wandered round the grounds to take a handful of photos. I also made a quick stop at a couple of old barns that I like, just to photograph them with snow on the ground. The forecast is for much warmer weather this week, above 0C.
