Yesterday, 4 March 2021, I decided to drive south of the city while the weather was still good. My first destination was the Saskatoon Farm and, unlike on most of my visits, I made it in time to get a late breakfast there. The meals are served on large plates and there was so much delicious food. The omelette was stuffed full with tomatoes, bacon, cheese, and I ordered fries instead of their creamy hashbrowns. Their fries are the best fries anywhere. A small portion of fresh fruit was a nice addition. Two slices of toast, that I think smelled of licorice, looked most attractive with the swirl pattern in a darker colour. I was going to take a photo of it all, but only remembered AFTER I had finished - argh!

Two things that I was really looking forward to seeing, were some newly acquired domestic Muscovy Ducks and Quails. I could see that one of the Muscovy Ducks and one of the Quails were on nests. The only time I had ever seen Muscovy Ducks before was in late March 2019, at the Birding and Nature Centre, South Padre Island, South Texas. Lots of bunnies seen hanging out in the same greenhouse enclosure as these birds.

Will have to finish my description tomorrow ....
