Goodbye for a while: now that I've quickly caught up on some recent edits, I'm already disappearing again - and it's into the mountains that I go 💘
I will be taking on my biggest hiking adventure so far, a 1.000 km long alpine trek in Italy. If you want to follow my journey you can do so at @anna.trotamundos on instagram :)
Two days late, but here it is, my photo for #earthday – and still just in time. After all, protecting our mother earth should be a topic every day, not just once a year.
This year’s theme for Earth Day is climate action. I used to think changing our individual behavior is enough to 'save the world', but now I do see the importance of organized action to really spark a change in the system – because not every person has the resources to always make the best choices and as long as there are things like hugely plastic-packaged products out there, they will be bought (the list of examples goes on). So, if rethinking happens on a higher level where a few can fight for many, then the positive effects on the environment will be so much greater. Revolutions are typically caused by movements, that's something to remember. (That doesn’t mean we should cancel our individual efforts though – that is and stays awesome!) 💛
P.S.: Being buried by a pile of soil was a fantastic way of reconnecting with nature, 10/10 would recommend 😅g
