Not that we needed it -- it was the dry season. I think I got maybe 1 mosquito bite the whole trip, and never needed my bug juice. If I had it to do over again, I would have turned down the anti-malarial (especially since it caused a minor psoriasis flare -- which is NOWHERE in the prescribing information, which I read carefully, but IS in the medical literature.)
