The first wonderful sunset of British Summer Time with a curious pooch captured on Barassie Beach, Scotland.

A tight crop as there was a wide drainage channel between me and the dog where the tide was going out. I didn't want to ruin my suede walking boots getting any closer. I have no idea what breed the dog was, he was happily chasing a ball around until he saw me crouching to capture this manually focused shot at arms length. I didn't want to get down on the soaking sand either, my boots were sinking in as it was.

I hate that it is such a tight crop but just love the feel of this shot. The stance of the dog is just perfect and, yes, I see what is going on there too lol.

Enjoy the view of the sun setting beyond the Isle of Arran. Stay safe everyone.
