Named 'Marilyn', these huge high shoes made of stainless steel cooking pots and covers are probably the most famous work of portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos. 'Marilyn' was given the opportunity to shine on the Throne Room of Palácio Nacional da Ajuda, Lisbon, where Joana presented a seductive, exuberant, humorous and groundbreaking exhibition, with approximately 40 sculptures carefully selected to interact with the Royal Palace. Oh sweet painted lady…
