St Michael's Mount (in lingua cornica: Karrek Loos y'n Koos; 0,23 kmq) è un'isola tidale situata nella cosiddetta Mount's Bay, nell'estremità occidentale della Cornovaglia (Inghilterra sud-occidentale), di fronte a Land's End. Dal punto di vista amministrativo, si tratta di una parrocchia civile del distretto di Penwith.
Evidentemente all’arcangelo Michele piacevano le isole della Manica. Infatti anche per St. Michael’s Mount, quasi sull’estrema punta della Cornovaglia, si tramanda leggenda, ripetuta per il celebre isolotto francese di Mont - Saint - Michel, che l’arcangelo Michele sia apparso (nel 495, pare) a un gruppo di pescatori, chiedendo loro di innalzare una chiesa, a onore del Salvatore e suo. Cosa che venne puntualmente fatta.

It is a civil parish and is united with the town of Marazion by a man-made causeway of granite setts, passable between mid-tide and low water.

Il castello del Boccale è una casa padronale nei pressi di Livorno, lungo il primo tratto di costa rocciosa nella parte sud della città, nei pressi di Calafuria. In origine, era una torre di avvistamento cinquecentesca costruita dalla famiglia Medici sulle rovine medievali di una vecchia struttura della Repubblica di Pisa. Verso la fine del XIX secolo, la villa è stata trasformata in una residenza in stile neo-medievale e ora contiene molti appartamenti con una vista spettacolare.

Boccale Castle is a manor house near Livorno, along the first stretch of rocky coast in the south part of the city, near Calafuria. Originally, it was a sixteenth century lookout tower built by the Medici family over the medieval ruins of an older structure by the Republic of Pisa. Towards the end of the nineteenth century, the villa was transformed it into a neo-medieval style residence and now it contains many apartments with a spectacular view.

Questo leggendario treno a vapore inizia il suo viaggio detto 'la via delle isole' attraverso uno dei percorsi ferroviari più suggestivi della Scozia, al suono di un fischietto alla stazione di Fort William, nelle Highlands Occidentali. La stazione è all'ombra della possente Ben Nevis, la montagna più alta del Regno Unito. E’ chiamato il “Jacobite Steam Train”, perché passa attraverso gran parte delle zone che sono associate al nome di Bonnie Prince Charlie (il principe Charles Edward Stuart) durante la ribellione giacobita. Il “Jacobite Steam Train” ha guadagnato notorietà dalla saga dei film di Harry Potter, quando fu trasformato in Hogwarts Express.
