Mrs. andertho and I were hiking in Wilder Ranch State Park when we noticed Great Egrets wandering around in open fields. This seemed unusual, as there were no wetlands and this place definitely was not their usual habitat. Then we noticed some of them moving around in a very distinctive, herky-jerky dance, and we figured out that we must be in the mating grounds. Then... these two gave us a brief, amazing moment.
