Today the 50th anniversary of the carnation revolution was celebrated in Portugal. I'm lucky to be alive and to have returned to the "hottest" places of that revolution to take photographs again and be able to remember that date and what I experienced at the time. The military vehicles that I now show you participated in these events and proudly paraded through the streets of downtown Lisbon today.
