This is the tail of the mother humpback with the baby arching right beside her. This shot does not do the size of these incredible animals justice. It was quite the site to see.

Not my best shot but how often do we see flying fish? This was a first for me! Taken on a boat tour in Hawaii.

Introduced to many states in the 1950's. However, the ones introduced to the mainland did not survive. The ones placed in Hawaii thrived and can be found all over the islands. Here I found him on some lava in Maui.

Waikamoi Falls

One of several waterfalls found on the road to Hana in Maui. This is a crazy road that had something like 617 curves and 50 one way bridges in about 50 miles. It was beautiful and well worth the effort to drive it.
