The Nikon FM3 is basically a FE2 with a fully mechanical shutter when using it in manual mode, no batteries needed, but when using aperture priority, the electronic controller takes over the shutter. This camera is the best of both worlds, mechanic and electronic. It also incorporates a couple of useful features, like automatic DX coding and exposure lock.
