The Nikon N75 was one of the two last film cameras Nikon produced.
It was discontinued in 2006.
As 2011 you can get a used one for about $70.
This little camera has all the features somebody would need, like AUTO, P, S, A and M modes, 3D Matrix metering, exposure compensation, bracketing, depth of field preview, and many others. It can autofocus with any AF lens, when modern cameras like D40, D60, D3000 or D5000 can't. It also works perfectly fine with VR lenses. It's VERY light, like a pocket camera. It's made of plastic, but it doesn't feel cheap. You can't tell here, but it's probable half of the size of a F100. See comparison here.
