The motivation behind this was to suggest that water is the giver of life. This didn't really pull off because now it looks like acid rain has fallen! Whatever, I think it still makes for an interesting image. I have another Photoshopped version of this photo here. I would be interested to know if people feel strongly for or against either of these as this is my first venture into photoshopping images for a surreal effect.

This is just a plain old macro of a water drop on a flower petal. I liked the way it looked like it was really hanging on!

This is a fairly common pic on flickr but I havent seen any black and white ones. The dandelions are great for a deep contrast. I especially like that there are all stages of the flower here, the bud, the flower and the seeds.

Thanks for the comments but I do not want to do a tighter crop. This is not *another* flickr dandelion shot. This was meant to be a more thoughtful photo showing the dandelions through their life cycle and I thought the positioning of them almost in a straight line was nice.
