This demonstrates how ridiculously small the depth of field field is with my new macro lens. It makes it very difficult to focus on the subject!

Another photo of a daffodil from just after a recent thaw. The water droplets make the flower much more interesting. The daffodils are now upright again - looking a lot happier with the better weather.

This was a test of the the Spot Metering on my new camera - Canon EOS 30D. The metering chose the exposure from a small portion in the center of the photo which resulted in quite a dark moody photo.
