Watching the morning sun illuminate the tufa formations at Mono Lake is always a spiritual experience for me. I am grateful to see this transformation another time.

The air was crisp and the lake was calm as the first light of the morning illuminated the scene before me. And Aspen leaves and trees lined the shore near and far. What you don't see here is the lineup of fellow photographers next to me. But I was still able to capture my little slice of heaven.
