I went to the Strand last evening looking for one of those glorious rosy sunsets. That didn't happen. Instead I was treated to a sky filled with wispy clouds and a golden mist coming in around the base of the Rock as the sun was setting.

On our trip up Hwy 395 we ran into the first snow storm of the season. This mountain across from Crowley Lake was momentarily illuminated. I raced to the first pullout available and jumped out to take this shot. The light only lasted a few minutes.

A group of us took the train to Santa Barbara on Saturday to photograph the Fiesta. So much color, music, food and festivity - a real FIESTA! It was all a delight to photograph.
