Despite me laying flat forever in the bottom of a ditch, this Jack Snipe still
would not move for me. It remained frozen until I approached it some more and then
it disappeared in a second, flying away and was not seen again. Still it was nice to experience
this much talked about behavior of this species. Hopefully it will return to the ditch were it belongs :-)
And I will get better pictures.
