Map of the world I went around courtesy of the Tin Goose pub, London Heathrow. If I lived in London I'd go to the airport just to hang out here. June 15 - July 12 2010: June 15, flew from San Francisco, CA, USA to (June 16) Beijing, China; July 17, took the bus to Ming Tombs & Badaling, Great Wall of China; June 23, took the Trans-Mongolian-Siberian Express from Beijing, China through Mongolia to (June 28) Moscow, Russia; July 1, took the train from Moscow to St. Petersburg, Russia; July 4: took the train from St. Petersburg to Helsinki, FInland; July 6: friend John Beck flew from Stockholm to meet me in Helsinki, we ferried to Tallinn, Estonia, rented a car and drove to Riga, Latvia; July 7: drove to Vilnius, Lithuania; July 8, drove to Kaunas; July 9: drove to Siauliai, Lithuania and back to Riga Latvia; July 10: flew from Riga to Stockholm, Sweden (had lunch and parted ways with John), flew on to London; July 12: flew from London to Washington DC and, finally, back to San Francisco.
