Last week I explored the famous Dutch Mountains (Posbank) with the blooming heather fields again to find new spots for when the conditions are right. With Dave Zuuring, we decided that this tree is the lucky one this year. After three visits I was still not happy, and missing the one day with mist I was pretty frustrated. But then, on an evening the weather forecast seems promising, and the next morning my (and Dave Zuuring's and Peter Bijsterveld's) patience was rewarded with the best morning this year.

Cold but wonderful morning at Hauklandstranda, one of the pearls of Lofoten islands in northern Norway. The cold night had let the highest waterlines of high tide freeze over and i was treated with many different foreground options, This is one of them- more to come!
