This is a composite rebuild mostly built using parts of two aircraft:-
c/n 85070, RAF serial T6801, civil registration G-AMBB
and
c/n 85226, RAF serial DE156, maintenance serial 7009M
Allocated British Aircraft Preservation Council identity ‘BAPC21’
Arrived in June 1995 and seen on display in Hangar 1

Built 1956 and supplied to the French Air Force as part of the American Mutual Assistance Program.
After retirement she returned to US military ownership and was flown to RAF Sculthorpe in May 1978. She was then permanently loaned to the museum and moved there by road during September the same year.
She is preserved in the markings of EC.1/8 “Trident ailé” of the French Air Force.

Built in 1982
Written off in the Falklands on 25th July 1989 when she crashed as a result of a gearbox failure while hovering.
The remains were taken to Cranwell for ground instruction and allocated the maintenance serial 9238M.
She arrived at the museum in February 2018 and a long restoration is ahead of her.
