This gorgeous male Superb Fairywren is my image for the MCF 52 Week Challenge theme of "Blue".

The male Fairywrens only gain their beautiful blue feathers during the breeding season.

Prue Stevenson is an artist who explores autistic pleasures, necessities and culture through repetitive and tactile processes that allow for experiences of sensory play, creating spaces and opportunities for downtime. Working with media including oil, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, installation and performance, Stevenson advocates for the identity, empowerment, and sensory awareness of the autistic community.

"Neural Perspective" in Little William Street is a ‘neural pathway’ drawing; a representation of the artist’s understanding of their brain. Where the pathways connect, there is a thought from the artist's perspective as a proud Autistic person, advocating for their access in society and celebrating the value of human diversities.

The amount of small detail in this rather huge piece from Bootleg Comics in Crown Place is quite amazing, zoom in to have a look around.

"Two Faces" is done using the same technique as the self-portrait I posted a couple of weeks ago, but using two beautiful photos from my lovely friend Jennifer.
